Let's start the chapter..... happy reading guys💗

The girl, around twenty-six, lay sleeping like a peaceful princess in her room. Her face was calm—far away from the chaos of her reality. In that moment, she looked like an angel untouched by the cruelty of the world.

But suddenly, her peaceful slumber shattered. Beads of sweat began to form on her forehead, her breathing turned heavy, and her brows furrowed in distress—as if she was trapped in a nightmare she couldn’t escape.

With a sudden jolt, she woke up—eyes wide open, filled with horror and confusion. Her body trembled, heart pounding violently inside her chest. She looked around the room, trying to ground herself back in reality. A sigh escaped her lips as relief slowly washed over her.

Taking a deep breath, she whispered to herself, her voice trembling,

> “Again... here I am—trapped in that same nightmare. Why does my life feel like this? Why can’t I ever have peace?”

She swallowed the lump forming in her throat, pushed back the tears threatening to fall, and got out of bed. Her bare feet touched the cold floor as she walked to the washroom, desperate to wash away the remnants of her haunting dream.

---

Ragini’s POV:

I came out of the shower, droplets of water still glistening on my skin, my towel wrapped tightly around me. The cold shower helped, but my face still looked pale, drained... tired. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t wash away the exhaustion that came from the inside.

I walked to my closet and pulled out my formal outfit—a crisp white top and a light brown blazer paired with matching pants. The color...—it gave me strength, a reminder that I’m still in control. I slipped into the clothes quickly, then chose my black YSL heels and the golden watch I always wear like armor around my wrist.

Standing before the mirror, I tied my hair into a neat ponytail. For a moment, I just looked at my reflection. My eyes still carried traces of last night’s fear, but slowly... my expression shifted. The vulnerable girl faded, replaced by the confident woman the world knows—Ragini Roy, CEO, unstoppable, unshakable.

I took one last look at myself and exhaled. “Perfect,” I murmured. Not happy. Not peaceful. Just... perfect.

---

Ragini stepped out of her room and headed toward the dining table, where her family was already seated for breakfast. The air was thick with silence. No one really knew what to say.

Breaking the stillness, her younger sister Anamika spoke softly, almost nervously,

> “Ragini di... how are you? You looked a bit tense yesterday. Did something happen?”

Ragini didn’t lift her eyes from her plate. Her voice was calm but distant.

> “I’m fine, Anu. Just office stress. Nothing serious.”

Their mother looked at her with concern, her tone gentle and filled with worry.

> “Beta, don’t take too much stress. It’s not good for your health, and it can trigger your migraine again.”

This time, Ragini forced a faint smile and looked up briefly.

> “Yes, Maa... I’ll take care of myself. Don’t worry.”

The breakfast continued in uneasy silence. Ragini finished her meal quickly, wiped her hands, and stood up.

> “I’ll be late today. There’s a business party hosted by Mr. Aditya Kashyap.”

Without waiting for a response, she grabbed her bag, put on her sunglasses, and walked out. Moments later, the sound of her BMW’s engine filled the quiet morning as she drove off toward her office—toward another day of power, responsibility, and the endless battle between her heart and her mind.

Rishi's pov:

It was five in the morning. Rishi was on the gym floor doing push-ups; with every descent and rise his muscles rippled in an almost hypnotic flex. Sweat soaked his shirt—not from the workout, but from a hotter, fiercer thing: anger. The deal he’d chased for months had slipped through his fingers. He had poured blood, hours and strategy into it, and now it was gone.

He forced a slow, ragged breath, eyes dark as storm clouds, jaw locked so tight his teeth ached. In a voice barely above a whisper he snarled, “She took it again—she always gets there first. Why is she always one step ahead? "

Flashback :

Rajput group of industries...

"Who had the audacity to snatch my deal?" Rishi roared, his jaw clenched and eyes burning with fury as he hurled the file against the wall.

His most important deal was slipped from his fingers for which he had worked harder.

Entire office was trembling from his angery voice. No one's dare to go infront of rishi because right now he was no less than a beast.

Just then a familiar voice reached him and his  burning blue eyes turns to that direction....and... then he saw her...Ragini roy.

"Of course, me. Mr. Singh..." Ragini’s voice cut through the tension like a blade as she stepped into his cabin, a sly smirk curving her lips. "Who else could dare besides me?"

Rishi said(coldly, stepping closer):

“So it was you again, Ragini Roy. Tell me, what is it that gives you pleasure — snatching my deals or watching me lose?”

Ragini replied (smirking, unbothered):

“Both sound equally tempting, Mr. Rajput. But I prefer winning
and if that means you lose, well
 collateral damage.”

Rishi (eyes narrowing, voice low and dangerous):

“You think this game will last forever? One day, I’ll make sure you regret every deal you’ve taken from me.”

Ragini (takes a step closer, unflinching):

“Oh, I don’t regret victories, Rishi. I celebrate them. And the best part?” leans in slightly “You make the competition
 thrilling.”

Rishi (his jaw tightens, tone dropping to a growl):

“Careful, Ragini. You’re playing with fire.”

Ragini (soft chuckle, meeting his gaze):

“Fire doesn’t scare me. I learned to burn long before you did.”

A tense silence fills the room — the air thick with rivalry and something deeper neither wants to name.

Rishi (finally):

“Get out of my office before I forget professionalism.”

Ragini (smiles faintly, turning to leave):

“Too late for that, Mr. Rajput. You already did.”

Her heels click against the marble floor as she walks out, leaving behind the faint scent of victory and chaos — and a man who suddenly can’t decide if he wants revenge
 or her.

Present :

A laugh that was all edge escaped him. “Fuck off,” he spat into the empty gym. “I’ll make her pay.... Ms. Ragini Roy—very soon.”

After a few hours, he stepped into the living room wearing a sky-blue shirt paired with black pants, looking effortlessly handsome — his broad shoulders , mascular body and sharp jawline adding to his commanding presence. His piercing blue eyes held the spark of a new day
and a hint of something dangerous brewing within.

He walked toward the dining table, taking his seat gracefully and greeting everyone with a faint smile. For his family, he was the kindest soul — warm, gentle, and protective. But the moment he stepped out of his home, he became someone else entirely
the ruthless, powerful CEO who didn’t think twice before destroying anyone who dared to cross him.

After few chats with his family...he headed toward his office in his black SUV..... But but but.... A faint smile...almost a smrik was on his face...like something is going in his mind... something dangerous....

is it about the revenge or something else??

Well... You'll know this in upcoming chapters so keep a little patience
